After enlisting in the Marines, I quickly learned that many of the packaged meals (aka MREs) I relied on were filled with artificial additives and unhealthy ingredients. They might have been convenient, but they didn’t leave me feeling healthy or taste good either!

Years later, while spending countless days in the outdoors and juggling a hectic routine, I faced the same problem: protein bars that had too much sugar, high calorie counts, sugar alcohols, or ingredients I couldn’t even pronounce.

The idea for Manou was born: a protein bar that not only tasted exceptional but also made with ingredients I could trust.
